It’s made of wool.

It has satiny trim that tries to deceive you into thinking this will be a nice blanket experience.

But it’s not.

Every house has one.

It’s buried deep in the bowels of the linen closet, under some afghans and a comforter with the down coming out of it, but make no mistake.

The scratchy blanket is there.

Things were going well until Tuesday. Ever since then I’ve been plagued by the all too familiar feelings of my depression and anxiety. Tuesday I meet with my psychiatrist for the second time and we’ll be finding a new medication for me. I also found a guy that I actually really like.

Things have been getting progressively better for me.

An update in case anyone still cares

Got a therapist and psychiatrist. The psychiatrist is weening me off my current anti-depressant to get me started on something new by the 14th of August. The days until will be long and progressively worse. I’ll check back in after the new meds if I make it that far.
